NAP is a monthly online publication of short and in-between poetry and fiction.

NAP is all about the short and in-between.

Sometimes NAP chants, " 'bout it, 'bout it" for hours when someone mentions the short and in-between to NAP.

Short and in-between = NAP is 'bout it.

If you've written something short and in-between this is where you submit short and in-between things.

Your submission might be really, really, really good and NAP editors will call you to tell you that NAP hearts it and wants to make babies or something.

NAP likes to make word babies with your words.
If you are cool with that, read on.

Your submission might be really, really, really good and NAP might be like, "nah, not feeling it this time." Don't take offense. NAP turns down really choice things all the time just because it didn't fit NAP's secret plan for each issue. You should try again, or not, really sort of up to you. NAP is weird. Take that as a clue on what to submit to NAP.

LOG by NAP - NATURE POEMS ABOUT NATURE GO HERE

NAP had a dream.

LOG appeared in NAP's dream.

LOG said to NAP in NAP's dream, "Dude, you need to go outside. You spend too much time indoors, man. NAP, you need dirt between your toes. NAP, you should know the secret language of chipmunks. NAP, you should know what it is like OUT THERE!"

Then LOG vanished from NAP's dream.

NAP would like to go outside, but NAP is scared of the outside.

NAP decided the best way to learn about outside is to read poems about outside.

NAP wants you to write poems about nature so NAP will understand nature.

NAP thinks maybe if you have gone outside once in your life, this should be enough to write a poem about nature.

NAP thinks maybe if you always live outside, you are an expert on nature.

Nature poems about nature is what NAP needs for a special anthology for the fall NAP will title LOG in honor of LOG who appeared in NAP's dream.

Deadline is October 1st.

Submit no more than 3 pages of nature poems in one document.
